Pour débuter la ballade, garez-vous sur le parking du Grand Moulin de l’Yzeron.
Ce « Grand Moulin », qui fonctionnait encore en 1890, est aujourd’hui un « Centre d’Initiation à la Nature » dont la vocation principale est l’étude des liens existants entre l’Homme et son milieu.
Après la découverte de la cache, vous pouvez poursuivre la promenade jusqu’à un petit pont qui enjambe l’Yzeron, ou revenir sur vos pas pour emprunter le « sentier de l’Yzeron » qui vous guidera jusqu’au Moulin du Gôt. Plusieurs panneaux ont été installés tout au long du circuit, pour vous aider à comprendre les milieux naturels de la vallée. A mi-parcours, vous pourrez profiter d'un beau panorama sur l'ensemble de la vallée.

To start the walk, please park at the parking lot of the « Moulin de l’Yzeron ». This water mill has been used until 1890. It is now a “Center for Initiation to Nature”.
After visiting the cache, you can keep going to a small bridge over the Yzeron river, or go back the other way to take the “trail of Yzeron” that will lead to another water mill, “le Moulin de Gôt”. Some signs give you information about the environment all along the trail. At mid-way, you will get a nice sight at the whole Yzeron valley.

trouvé facilement lors d'une balade à VTT avec un collègue.
j'en ai profité pour lui faire une initiation au Géocaching.

nous avons hésité quant au coté de la rivière à prendre mais finalement nous avons fait le bon choix

Cache trouvée facilement par une très belle matinée.
Les coordonnées sont parfaite et la cahce se voit de loin.
Merci pour cette balade au bord de l'Yzeron.

trouvee a 14h15 dans le froid.
le tout est de ne pas se tromper de cote de la riviere, car il est difficile de la traverser par ce froid

12:45. Another pleasant walk to find the cache easily in a place very near where I work at Craponne. Took the wrong path to start with and ended up using the rocks in the river to cross it, just to add a little excitement to the adventure! MPLC. TNLN.
